The Enterprise Imaging (“EI”) Remote Sales Representative (“SR”) is responsible for driving all add-on and upgrade business within their assigned region. This includes maintaining customer relationships that promote loyalty, retention and growth across all Enterprise Imaging businesses (radiology, cardiology, workflow solutions, and cloud). The Sales Rep’s primary focus is to work closely with the field sales representative to ensure the Customer perceives great value in doing business with Optum and the Customer is a promoter of Optum solutions and services within the Account and across the Territory.
The Sales Rep has a cross functional role and serves as a resident expert of the add-on and upgrade business, processes and the contractual agreements with the Customer. They collaborate with field Account Executives, Sales Specialists and AVP’s to solve complex customer needs regarding quote configurations, contract amendments, security forms, credits, change orders, etc. They will also coordinate with other functional departments as needed to ensure Optum meets the Customer’s expectation and contractual obligations. The Sales Rep will serve as an invaluable administrative resource for ongoing client satisfaction and escalation requirements.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development and Execution (35%)
- Meet or exceed annual sales Quota as determined by AVP
- Responsible for strategic Add-0n and upgrade initiatives to drive more business in the installed base
- Manage AE’s for specific aspects of the sales process Management issue resolution, Customer Satisfaction
- Meet or exceed annual sales Quota as determined by AVP
- Customer-Facing Activities (10%)
- Meet with customers virtually when needs
- Listen to customer’s needs and sell value. Become an indispensable resource for your customers at all levels in the organization
- Relationship building with the regional sales team and customer base
- Assist in resolving Accounts Receivable and Invoice issues for customers
- Proactively manage, escalate and resolve customer issues
- Meet with customers virtually when needs
- Administrative Tasks (50%)
- Email
- Salesforce management for all aspects of customer issue resolution
- Customers follow up
- Assistance with NPS Surveys
- Issue resolution for administrative sales tasks that are complex and don’t have direct sales dependencies

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 2+ years of professional work experience in a client facing role (account management, sales, client relations, or related)
- Ability to travel up to 10% of time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a clinical capacity in the medical imaging field
- Experience with relationship management at all levels in the healthcare market (CEO, COO, CIO, CFO level, Director, purchasing)
- Experience dealing with contract negotiations
- Intermediate clinical or Healthcare IT knowledge
- Knowledge of various Radiology PACS Solutions and Enterprise imaging workflows
- Advanced level of knowledge in the medical imaging industry, including but not limited to radiology and cardiology workflow solutions and products
- General knowledge of Microsoft Office and SalesForce.com or similar CRM
- Intermediate to advanced negotiation, conflict management & customer service skills
- Proficient interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the organization and collaborate as necessary to accomplish goals
- Proven ability to manage multiple, diverse projects and sales support needs simultaneously
Soft Skills:
- Expertise in dealing with customer conflict resolution
- Proven ability to remain organized in a highly demanding environment

Canada Residents Only: The hourly range for Canada residents is $23.70 to $49.28 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
