Here at Optum, we are excited to share that we are currently recruiting for a Sales Executive to join us on a permanent basis.

 

This position is a home working job with some requirement to travel to the Watford office on a fortnightly basis (maximum) for collaborative meetings

Our customers and partners are using our solutions in all health and care settings, from GP surgeries and community care to high street pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, not-for-profit organisations, and specialist services. What you’ll do:

As a Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in selling our industry-leading software services and hardware products to the retail pharmacy market across the UK. You’ll engage with customers through telephone calls and remote sessions, ensuring an exceptional customer experience while securing long-lasting relationships.

 

Other key responsibilities and accountabilities will include; 

  • Handling incoming inquiries and managing sales opportunities in our CRM system
  • Qualifying leads and identifying new business opportunities through cold calling
  • Maintaining accurate forecasting and customer communications
  • Staying updated on health sector developments and Optum products to effectively promote our offerings
  • Collaborating with our field sales team and contributing to departmental planning

Who You’ll Be

  • Successful time spent in a B2B sales environment is beneficial but not essential
  • Proven customer-centric approach
  • Proven fantastic communication skills and the confidence to liaise with a range of stakeholders 
  • Ability to be an excellent team player
  • Ability to build solid relationships and rapport with customers and colleagues throughout the business
  • Ability to be focused and driven to exceed targets and expectations
  • Ability to be organised, self-starter, with high levels of attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work to agreed deadlines
