Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and architectural guidance for creating robust cloud-native .NET applications using Azure Cloud services
- Develop Architecture and Design documentation for the applications and present it to the review board for evaluation
- Encourage the adoption of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and event-driven design principles
- Provide assistance and direction to development teams throughout the analysis, development, and testing stages
- Produce architecture diagrams, including deployment, system context, and data flow diagrams etc.
- Establish standards, patterns, and best practices for application architecture
- Supervise containerization and orchestration efforts using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to development teams
- Support enterprise integration patterns and tools, such as API Management, Service Bus, and Event Grid
- Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and fellow architects to define system requirements and technical solutions
- Ensure data security during transmission and implement essential security protocols
- Evaluate emerging technologies and suggest tools and frameworks to improve development efficiency and system performance
- Optimize applications to meet performance targets
- Integrate applications with Azure monitoring solutions.
- Conduct code and architecture reviews to guarantee high-quality software delivery
- Identify, develop and package cross-cutting components
- Monitor and troubleshoot production systems and participate in ‘War Room’ activities
- Develop strategies for adopting front-end technologies like Angular, React, and Blazor
- Communicate the implications of architectural decisions, challenges, and plans to business and IT leadership
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering, or other technology related fields
- 10 years of technical experience designing and developing large enterprise solutions using C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, SQL Server, Entity Framework, micro services architecture, and domain driven design, networking, Azure deployment and managing Azure infra
- 5+ years of technical experience designing and developing web solutions using Angular, React, Kendo, NgRx State management
- Experience in building and deploying solutions in Azure
- Demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies
- Sense of initiative and “can-do” attitude are highly recommended to succeed in this position
- Proven ability to lead a team, and to build effective working relationships within team and across other IT groups, ability to work independently
