You will be part of a team that implements and delivers one of our Stratus Imaging Software Solutions here at Optum/Change Healthcare Imaging, Workflow & Care Solutions. Your role will extend from documenting software, implementing bug fixes, and helping conceptualize and design and implementing new solutions. You will work closely with your fellow testers, developers and product owners to implement high quality software products.

You will be developing SAAS applications consisting of backend services, web services, and web clients. The work will require you to analyze requirements and designs to develop test cases for new features. You will also be troubleshooting customer reported issues and correcting errors in releases of the Change Healthcare Workflow software product suite.

The work will provide direct experience in using enterprise tools for application lifecycle management, e.g., defect management, requirement management and code management. As a medical device manufacturer, the product development work operates under the purview of various quality systems standards and regulations. You will be exposed to and received basic training on quality standards like ISO 13485:2003 and ISO 14791:2007. In addition, the software development will build up your domain knowledge on medical imaging systems – a critical component in delivery of patient care.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of Bachelor degree with courses in C++/C# and software development
  • Experience with Cloud Infrastructure, GCP/AWS
  • Knowledge of software engineering concepts, experience developing in Javascript, C# and possibly C++
  • Experience in Web Development, with a focus on the latest web-browser related standards is an optional asset
  • Proven good verbal and written communication skills

Canada Residents Only: The hourly range for Canada residents is $14.38 – $29.81 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
