This role will play a key role in overall project control, working with financial modeling, and performance analysis. This position requires a solid understanding of healthcare finance, cost structures, and regulatory environments. The ideal candidate will be analytical, collaborative, and passionate about improving healthcare outcomes through financial insight. We are looking for candidates that are proficient in handling dynamic environments and passionate about financial analysis and reporting. You will use your expert skills to be a key influence for financial planning and strategic decision-making process. Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead project control efforts across the team to include standardization of processes and controls
- Financial Liaison on Bid & Proposal efforts to support financial consideration
- Support efforts with New Contracts to ensure Financial compliance through setup and implementation
- Develop, maintain and refine financial models used in forecasting that assess company performance and strategic initiatives and enhance modeling reliability
- Conduct variance analysis to understand deviations from plan and providing insights on corrective actions
- Solid research and analysis skills – Conduct analysis of financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas of improvements
- Ensure financial models align with business rules, provide support with business case development related to scalable reporting structures
- Presenting financial analysis, findings, and recommendations to senior leadership

Required Qualifications:

- 3+ years of Financial Analysis experience with solid capability to translate financial data into executive reporting
- 3+ years of Government Contracting Experience
- Experience in enhancing financial process focusing on reliability and accuracy and efficiently handle ad hoc requests
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, Power BI
- Proven solid communication skills with ability to convey financial findings in a clear and concise manner
- Proven to be skilled in multi-tasking and prioritizing workloads
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight financial deadlines
- Proven ability to work autonomously on day to day responsibilities

The salary range for this role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
