The Associate Director, Talent Acquisition will be responsible for advising management teams and driving the talent acquisition strategy and execution for our Optum Health Northeast Talent Acquisition Team supporting provider and non-provider roles across the clinical space. This position is accountable for leading a team that will deliver world-class recruitment execution in a high-priority growth market from process design through performance measurements / metrics of internal recruiting teams. This role is responsible for delivering on the talent agenda by developing and implementing sourcing and assessment strategies that deliver business outcomes in the form of quality of hires. This role is also accountable to building solid and influential relationships with critical stakeholders across the East Market and the Optum Health National TA team.
Day-to-day duties include functional staffing project management / oversight, management of recruitment teams including allocation of workload and productivity / recruiter yield modeling and monitoring, as well as handling escalated business and functional execution of projects and issues. This role will act as a strategic advisor to the Optum HealthNortheast recruiting teams and business leaders related to the strategy, innovation and collaboration required to achieve desired business outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Leads the Optum Health Talent Acquisition Northeast market provider and non-provider recruitment function. Continues to build a world-class talent acquisition team focusing on the implementation of a fully business dedicated model
- Fosters the development and innovation of new TA approaches for increased recruitment results. Translates talent/skills profiles into a search strategy to proactively delivery talent to executive leaders
- Applies a data-driven approach to help influence business decisions, create programs and leverage systems
- Partners with senior level executives to ensure alignment of TA team to meet the needs of the business
- Influences and leads TA priorities to address business and operational changes
- Cultivates the growth of Net Promoter Score by ensuring effective use of resources, candidate care and communication with hiring managers
- Provide expertise in market insights, talent landscape, and an understanding of talent needs to assist in developing company growth plans and forecast
- Identifies and resolves Talent Acquisition operational issues using policies and processes
- Ownership of critical TA priorities
- Support integration work in partnership with TA, Business and People Teams
- Day to day management of RPO directing strategy and adherence to process (SLA/Metrics)

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of end-to-end recruitment experience
- 3+ years leading Talent Acquisition teams that leverage local and national level recruiting strategies for a broad range of positions and with varying levels of senior leadership
- Experience within Clinician/Physician Talent Acquisition
- Experience in the sourcing, development and cultivation of talent pipelines
- Demonstrated experience influencing key stakeholders regarding Talent Acquisition strategies communication
- Demonstrated experience being consultative and collaborative, including the ability to effectively resolve conflict, negotiate, and influence significant change with executive level leaders
- Resides in the NE or has the ability to relocate
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading a recruiting team that facilitates internal mobility through partnership with People Team leaders
- Experience using Taleo or similar applicant tracking system
- Resides in one of the preferred locations or MA, CT, RI, NH

The salary range for this role is $106,800 to $194,200 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
