The experience in healthcare can be complicated and hard to navigate, making what can already be a challenging time that much harder for a consumer. In an industry littered with competing and disconnected products, the consumer struggles to navigate the health system and their insurance offerings. This Digital Product Manager role is aligned to the Get Care pillar in the Price Care Journey within the UHC Consumer Product organization. This journey exists to ensure finding, pricing, accessing, and manage care healthcare is frictionless, understandable, and contextual to people’s journey and their goals. This role is responsible for using product management best practices to set the vision for and execute a simplified omni-channel consumer experience. An experience that delivers on the United Health Group mission, of helping members live healthier lives and making the health system work better for everyone.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Gathering and documenting clear requirements with stakeholders 
  • Sharing requirements, vision, and strategy with engineering 
  • Validating user acceptance testing 
  • Understanding and refining the product strategy and message in alignment with the team 
  • Requesting and collecting estimates of work across impacted teams 
  • Analyzes and investigates
  • Provides explanations and interpretations within area of expertise

Required Qualifications:

  • Healthcare experience including familiarity with product management components and lifecycle 
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as with a team 
  • Proven ability to influence without authority 
  • Proven solid communication skills 
  • Proven ability to prepare and deliver presentations 
  • Proven ability to manage a budget 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Aha experience
  • Experience with Medicare and/or Medicaid
  • Knowledge of claim processing

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $71,200 to $127,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
