This position is for Part D Formulary Operations, Business Analyst position.  The position is needed for adding and validating product information in formulary applications to support downstream teams and customers that reference this information. The position also performs daily validation and quality analysis against formulary data to insure accurate product setup and correct adjudication for Part D members.  The accuracy of this information is critical as it must comply with CMS rules and regulations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Data analysis, file management and report validation required
  • Produce, publish and distribute scheduled and adhoc reports while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to problem solve and research inaccurate data
  • Prepare formulary files for RxWeb and look up tools
  • Prepare Prior Auth and Step files for RxWeb
  • Review completed reports used for formulary validation
  • Communicate analysis to peers and leaders
  • Provide support to internal and/or external customers on issue mitigation
  • Perform other duties as necessary to meet department objectives supporting clients and/or COE objectives

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • 2+ years of experience in a PBM and healthcare
  • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel utilizing v-lookups and Formulas
  • 2+ years of experience with data analysis, identifying anomalies and discrepancies
  • 1+ years of experience with Medicare Part D and Part D Guidance

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • RxCLAIM/AS400 experience 
  • SQL work experience
  • Knowledge of Medispan data system including GPI drug classification system and First Data Bank 
  • Familiarity with prescription benefit, formulary, and clinical program design

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $28.27 to $50.48 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable
