Primary Responsibilities:
- Utilize AI tools such as GitHub Copilot to enhance productivity and efficiency across the team
- Own all aspects of product development by following compliance and security best practices
- Perform analysis on failures, propose design changes, and encourage operational improvements
- Propose sound design/coding decisions keeping customer experience in the forefront
- Create optimal design adhering to architectural best practices; considers scalability, reliability and performance of systems
- Participate in Agile development methodologies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Contribute to a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement
- Stakeholder management: Be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, clarity of thought and ability to take decisions bases on available information
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of overall IT experience
- Experience in financial technology domain
- Experience with high volume transaction sites
- Experience working with applications deployed in private or public cloud
- Experience in customer facing products
- Worked in an Agile team and good understanding of Scrum
- Well-versed with Engineering Practices and Agile environment
- Proficient in JavaScript, JQuery, ReactJS, TypeScript, SCS, NodeJS, Angular JS, HTML, CSS,
- Proven good oral and written communication Skills
- Proven ability to demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies and leverage them to execute on the use cases given to solve business problems
