CARE UMR Senior Data Analyst – Hybrid in New York or New Jersey

The CARE Sr. Data Analyst is responsible for supporting clinical report analysis and creation and delivery, reporting to the Associate Director CARE Business Performance for UMR. Clinical performance is charged with effectively implementing, monitoring, and executing on programs related to driving affordability, clinical quality activities across the UMR Third Party Administration business.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Create reports that present clinical data in a clear and meaningful manner. Includes designing and developing reporting templates, visualizations and interactive dashboards to clearly communicate key findings.
- Ensure accuracy, integrity and consistency of data used in reporting, validating data sources, conducting data audits and implementing data cleansing and quality control processes
- Schedule and/or meet with internal and external stakeholders to gather report requirements and data analysis needs
- Collaborate with business to develop and operationalize analytic solutions
- Manages multiple projects simultaneously
- Solves complex problems and/or conducts complex analyses
- Provide insight for enhancement for technology and software applications utilized for utilization management and clinical programs
- Perform other related functions as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of demonstrated experience collaborating with internal and external customers to gather report requirements and use to develop reports, dashboards, etc.
- 2+ years of experience building / delivering reports with clinical data
- 2+ years of experience with Business Objects / Web Intelligence
- 1+ years of experience SQL reporting at moderate or advanced level
- Proficient in data analysis, including data manipulation, statistical analysis, and data visualization.
- HIPAA and other privacy regulations experience
- Reside in New York or New Jersey
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience designing reports with large data sets with different sources
- 2+ years of UMR experience with clinical data
- Proficiency in Power BI
- Experience working with Snowflake
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including business and technology partners

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits re subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $89,800 to $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
