The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the coordination and completion of projects across various functional areas. Provides subject matter expertise in areas including project scope definition, risk identification, project methodology, resource allocation, facilitation, and other areas of expertise based on established project management techniques. Requires partnering with other leaders in a high energy, fast-paced, and dynamic matrix organization across multiple geographies in order to have continuous consistency, alignment and visibility into progress, status, challenges and risks. Required to oversee multiple projects and initiatives that rollup into our business objectives, roadmap and vision. Must have data analysis skills to support decision making processes, and the ability to execute flawlessly and assess program/project progress to report on overall project updates to stakeholders and senior management. Ensures projects are completed within defined timelines and scope. 

*This is a Hybrid position and you will be required to work onsite 3 days a week at: 19500 IH 10 W Stop 2-4090 in San Antonio, TX

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Effectively and efficiently own the successful delivery of all assigned projects including managing all cross-function work stream owners. Function as the project General Manager
  • Lead or help develop program or project scope in consultation with applicable stakeholders (e.g. program/project plan of deliverables, timelines, business vision document, etc.)
  • Work with resource managers to identify team roles and skill sets required, duration and effort required for successful project execution
  • Create and manage project plan. Mange risks and mitigations and replan as events warrant
  • Direct the team and resolve conflicts: Direct team to complete projects on time, within budgetary guidelines. Escalate issues appropriately
  • Develop, communicate and implement program /project risk/ issue management plans and strategies to project team members and management
  • Responsible for overall quality review of project, ongoing review of cross-functional team resource work/outcomes and final documentation of team/project procedures
  • Develop innovative approaches
  • Consistently utilize standard project management tools
  • Sought out as an expert, leader, mentor
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in leading strategic project and/or program implementations
  • Experience managing multi projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Proven ability to work independently in driving project/program implementation from initiation to completion
  • Proven ability to facilitate meetings with all levels of stakeholders and management.
  • Proven excellent presentation skills
  • Demonstrated leadership ability
  • Demonstrate the ability to quickly/positively change project priorities as business goals shift
  • Demonstrated ability to engage team members in a cross-functional, virtual environment
  • Open to flexible work hours, including necessary overlap with US time zones
  • This position requires Tuberculosis screening as well as proof of immunity to Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis through lab confirmation of immunity, documented evidence of vaccination, or a doctor’s diagnosis of disease

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP Certification
  • Healthcare and/or healthcare operations experience
  • Proven exposure to Project managing automation work/tools-Smartsheet Project Plan development and Executive Dashboard development using automated Smartsheet tools

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $89,900 to $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
