As a Senior Business Analyst, Stop Loss Reporting, you’ll work with the brightest minds in the business and find yourself digging deep to find the solutions to help our business profitably grow. You’ll be responsible for analyzing, reviewing and forecasting data for sales, operational and business planning to impact the strategic direction of the UHC Stop Loss business. Join us!

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, review, forecast and trend complex data for the UHC Specialty business. You’ll be responsible for various reporting initiatives such as Broker and GA reporting, sales and renewal pipelines and forecasting, KPI tracking, and more
  • Present analysis and recommendations for sales, operational and business review/planning to leadership to support the short and long-term UHC Specialty business strategy and sales and account management efforts
  • Work to develop automation of key reporting initiatives to supply critical internal and external stakeholders with real-time data and actionable analytics
  • Support short- and long-term operational/strategic business activities through both reporting analysis and through project management efforts
  • Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to support the overall Operations for the Specialty Growth Organization\

This is a complex, fast-paced, matrixed environment with a lot of moving parts. The challenge is in developing, enhancing and maintaining operational information and models. You’ll be expected to interpret and analyze large amounts of data from multiple sources and use it to tell a meaningful story.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in business/finance analysis
  • 4+ years of experience in financial reporting
  • Demonstrated high level of proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint 
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely both verbally and in written formats
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate information that may be nebulous
  • Demonstrated excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Insurance industry experience
  • Deep knowledge of tools such as Power BI

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $71,200 to $127,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
