Responsible for management of direct reports, including exempt and non-exempt personnel, to ensure departmental goals are achieved. Accountable to ensure staff adheres to and trained on all financial and compliance requirements. Responsible for driving projects, innovation in all areas of responsible to drive continuous improvements within the team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversees a function/departments in Billing with significant staff (>40 FTE’s) or staff in multiple sites (requiring greater than 25% travel), or staff working in multiple core billing applications or direct supervision of Managers or Project Managers
  • Leads the development of the team
  • Sets objectives and strategies to meet the company’s expectations of the department
  • Analyzes and interprets reports on metrics associated with goals and objectives
  • Pursues continual improvement of quality and efficiencies in functional areas, by leading team review of processes, procedures, and team member performance
  • Ensures that the team meets compliance and financial requirements
  • Achieves cross-functional objectives in terms of customer and patient satisfaction
  • Manages hiring, training, monitoring, and termination of all direct reports
  • Mentors, coaches, and develops staff
  • Develops strategies to promote employee engagement and improve employee satisfaction

Required Qualifications:        

  • 5+ years of billing functional experience
  • 3+ years of supervisory/leadership experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (including excellent verbal and writing skills)
  • Proficient in using Microsoft business applications and possess strong PC skills
  • Proven problem solving and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines within standards
  • Adaptable and flexible with the ability to accept, create and manage change

 

Preferred Qualifications:        

  • AAPC Coding Certification

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits re subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $89,800 to $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
