As an Actuarial Analyst, you’ll have every opportunity to advance along our accelerated actuarial development path as we support your continuing post-graduate education and certification. If you’re out to do more, then you want to become part of this team. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the development of medical trend reports, financial forecasts and related actuarial assumptions 
  • Gather data needed for pricing and reporting 
  • Perform mathematical and statistical analyses 
  • Build actuarial models and proactively identify solutions

In this role you’ll be challenged to work with and maintain data accuracy and work within quick turnaround times to support actuarial, financial and utilization analyses. You will be working with large complex data bases and will need to work cross functionally within the organization.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 1 or more Actuarial exams passed
  • Intermediate or higher-level proficiency in MS Excel (charts, graphs, pivots, lookups formulas, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a corporate environment 
  • Experience working in finance or the health care industry 
  • Experience with coding (primarily use SQL / SAS / R)
  • Proven excellent communication skills
  • Proven ability to self-audit work
  • Proven ability to work independently through tasks and develop meaningful questions
  • Proven ability to balance multiple priorities in fast-paced environments

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $58,800 to $105,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
