Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute detailed manual and automated test cases and test scripts to ensure product quality and compliance with requirements
  • Plan and execute functional, regression, system integration, and end-to-end testing activities
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using automation frameworks/tools like Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, or similar
  • Identify, document, and track defects clearly, thoroughly, and accurately using defect management tools
  • Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.) and provide valuable QA insights
  • Analyze test results, identify root causes of defects, and recommend corrective and preventive actions
  • Continuously improve test automation frameworks and testing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Prepare comprehensive test summary reports, including clear communication of issues, risks, and overall product quality to stakeholders
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 4+ years of professional experience in software testing, including manual and automation testing
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
  • Experience in developing and executing comprehensive test cases, test plans, and test scripts
  • Hands-on experience with automation testing tools/frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber etc.
  • Solid knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Proficient in defect management tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar
  • Familiarity with programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
  • Proven solid analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork capabilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Rest-Assured etc.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes and tools
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
