The Senior Manager, Cloud Operations will be responsible for overseeing the cloud infrastructure and operations, ensuring compliance with FedRAMP standards, and driving continuous improvement in cloud services. This role requires a strong background in cloud technologies and site reliability engineering. The ideal candidate will be technically hands-on while also being an effective people manager, capable of wearing both hats equally.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the cloud operations team to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of cloud services
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, with a primary focus on Azure, followed by AWS
  • Ensure compliance with FedRAMP standards and other regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud solutions that meet business needs
  • Develop and implement strategies for monitoring, incident response, and disaster recovery
  • Drive continuous improvement in cloud operations through automation and process optimization
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members
  • Manage vendor relationships
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in cloud operations
  • Be well-versed in AI and capable of applying emerging AI tools to improve team efficiency

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in cloud operations, site reliability engineering, or related roles
  • 5+ years of Azure cloud experience or combination of Azure and AWS cloud
  • 3+ years of experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • 2+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such asTerraform
  • United States citizenship is required for this position

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Math, Physics
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator)
  • 2+ years of experience with FedRAMP compliance and industry regulations
  • 2+ years experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps (ADO)
  • 2+ years experience with GitOps tools like ArgoCD or Flux

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $110,200 to $188,800 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
