Software Engineering Lead – .Net Fullstack

Primary Responsibilities:
- Designs, codes, tests and debugs applications and components that meet all technical specifications and business requirements per assigned work items
- Work closely with lead engineers to develop the best technical design and approach for new product development
- Collaborates closely with Business Analysts on developing requirements and assists with estimating
- Instill best practices for software development and documentation, assure designs meet requirements, and deliver high-quality work on budget and on-time
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet timelines with optimal solutions
- Lead application build team for selected projects
- Ability to take on a complex technical problem that is not well-defined, decompose into manageable tasks, provide proper estimates, and lead/coordinate other team members to collective deliver the end solution
- Operational Excellence – build, deploy, monitor, and operation of production services
- Work with team to achieve timely resolution of all production issues meeting or exceeding Service Level Agreements
- Uses technical knowledge and experience to resolve development and support issues
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected to accomplish goals
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work concurrently on multiple tasks
- May lead and direct the work of others, including code reviews and mentoring other staff on industry best practices
- Mentors junior software engineers
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). NOTE: Shift timing on these roles- 2.30pm IST till midnight
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of development and testing experience in C# / .Net
- 5+ years of development experience on Microsoft SQL Server (preferred) or Oracle Database
- 5+ years Database Design/Programming (Stored Procedures/Functions)
- 5+ years of SDLC or DevOps/Agile experience
- 5+ years with Angular
- 5+ years working experience with API REST web services
- 2+ years serving in a lead role or demonstrated experience leading junior engineers/small projects
- Experience with version management tools and implementing CI/CD pipelines (Git, AzureDevOps, SVN, etc.)
- Experience with Design Patterns
- Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven excellent organizational skills and focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proven excellent analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Proven self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Reporting Tools Experience
- Azure Cloud development experience
- Healthcare Industry Experience
- Cognizant Facets Application experience
