Come and join the Optum Insight (OI) Payer Data Intake (PDI) team on our mission to streamline the intake of our customer data reducing the strain on customers purchasing multiple services and helping our downstream teams by providing a canonical data model for ingestion.  On our team you will use the latest cloud and big data technologies and have many learning and career growth opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities:

This position will be responsible for leading our Snowflake DWaaS efforts, working on customer pipeline implementations, and participating in architecture and engineering initiatives. 

• Lead engineering team on Snowflake DWaaS roadmap
• Contribute to infrastructure roadmap
• Create high level architecture for roadmap initiatives
• Perform code reviews with engineering team members

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of Overall IT experience
  
• 3+ years Snowflake DWaaS experience
  
• 3+ years of experience – Azure Big Data (ADF, Databricks, Spark, Scala, PySpark)
  
• 1+ years of DevOps/CI/CD Experience (Github preferred)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Azure Architecture and Engineering using one or more of the following technologies (one or more of Azure Functions, API Development, Service Bus)
  
• Development experience using Python or C#
  
• Infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred)
  
• Azure SQL / SQL Server
  
• AWS

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $110,200 to $188,800 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
