Primary Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business leadership to manage user stories and project commitments in an agile framework, rapidly delivering value to customers
  • Mentor and lead engineering teams to perform at a high level, fostering growth and accountability
  • Manage multiple geographically distributed Scrum teams, ensuring alignment, collaboration, and timely delivery across time zones
  • Own the technology stack and drive modern, innovative solutions to complex problems across the application portfolio
  • Ensure compliance with employment terms, company policies, and directives, including flexibility in work arrangements and evolving business needs
  • Provide leadership and accountability for the performance of individual contributors
  • Continuously improve applications across design, build, deploy, test, and runtime phases within cloud ecosystems
  • Contribute to full software development lifecycle including design, development, unit testing, system testing, and test automation
  • Develop and maintain software components using modern technologies such as Java/J2EE, Angular, React, Microservices, Apache Kafka, and Spring
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a distributed and dynamic platform
  • Prioritize and manage work to meet critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate with geographically distributed Agile teams to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Support quality engineering efforts, including mentoring, assistance, and writing/executing automation tests as needed
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
  • 15+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer with solid proficiency in Java/J2EE and SpringBoot
  • 6+ years of experience managing and leading engineering teams
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in production cloud (public or private)
  • 1+ years of experience integrating Generative AI capabilities into enterprise applications
  • Hands-on experience using design patterns
  • Hands-on experience delivering engineering solutions in cloud environments
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps tools including:
  • Build automation tools: Hudson, Jenkins, Travis CI or equivalent
  • Build tools: Maven, ANT, Gradle or equivalent
  • Source control tools: Git, GitHub, SVN or equivalent
  • Broad technology experience including complex systems integration
  • Experience setting up CI/CD and continuous testing pipelines
  • Experience with modern open-source technologies including Kafka and Kubernetes
  • Experience working in the healthcare industry or other regulated environments
  • Solid experience in software architecture and solution design
  • Knowledge of CI/CD, security, and vulnerability tools including Maven, Jenkins, ServiceNow API integration, Stargate, Fortify, Sonar or equivalent
  • Solid hands-on knowledge in JUnit or equivalent testing frameworks
  • Solid hands-on knowledge in PL/SQL and Oracle database
  • Solid understanding of software engineering principles including algorithms, data structures, schemas, queries, system design, unit testing, code reviews, Agile, and DevOps
  • Good understanding of SCRUM and Agile best practices
  • Collaborated with cross-functional teams to drive adoption of AI copilots for engineering and business operations
  • Led initiatives to embed generative AI into CI/CD pipelines for intelligent automation and code quality insights
  • Test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks
  • Demonstrated solid analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated ability to self-learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Proven to be a hands-on leader with the ability to optimize code and maintain good design practices
  • Proven team player, thought leader, and innovation agent across diverse tech stacks
  • Proven strength in design and application architecture principles
  • Proven readiness to take on technical challenges with a research-oriented mindset
  • Proven adaptability to learn and apply the latest technologies as per business needs
  • Proven strategic thinker with awareness of market trends
  • Proven ability to comprehend requirements and create robust, resilient database designs
  • Proven ability to guide teams and communicate status effectively to senior management
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
