In this role, you’ll join the operations team which is the driving force behind ensuring all video productions are planned with precision and cost efficiency. Coordinating the efforts of a talented group of producers, writers, editors, graphic designers, and external vendors, you’ll plan the entire production timeline from concept to completion. Your expertise in resource allocation, video production timelines, and team management will be critical to delivering high-quality content within deadlines.

With your outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, you’ll develop timelines, assign available resources (both internal and external), generate statements of work and resolve scheduling conflicts, ensuring the team operates at peak efficiency.
While flexibility is key, we require your presence in our modern Eden Prairie, Minnesota office at least three days a week to foster collaboration and maintain project momentum.

This position follows a hybrid schedule with four in-office days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Video Operations Director, work closely with Project and Intake Managers to plan the video production process from concept stages through delivery for all requests
- Manage production schedule and communicate resource capacity to team leaders at daily and weekly touch points
- Assess project feasibility, projections, and scheduling resources, communicating potential conflicts and presenting solutions
- Maximize internal production resources ensuring best possible return on investment for our partners
- Become a power user of project management tools to manage requests from internal partners and be a source of truth for our internal team
- Manage scope, schedules, timelines, budgets, resource plans, assets and overall project organization to ensure requirements and project deliverables dates are clearly communicated, understood and executed upon
- Communicate regularly with Project Manager and Producers to update project timelines as needed and adjust resources
- Draft SOWs to set clear expectations for the video team and requestors
- Develop budgets for external labor when necessary, and arrange the appropriate freelance or agency resources; manage and develop freelance resource pool
- Use problem-solving and interpersonal skills to seek out project details, changes, and revisions, and resolve issues or missing information to provide clear direction to the creative/producing staff
- Use great negotiation and people skills to manage client and creative conflicts related to revisions, workloads, or timing/bandwidth issues
- Contribute to fundamental tasks such as folder structure set-up, file naming, and SOP (standard operating procedures) training basics to help manage work across producing and design staff
- Perform basic administration of project management platform, maintain team calendar and shared mailboxes
- Perform basic financial duties such as record project expenses and submit invoices
- Perform other duties as require

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Production Manager or similar role in a creative or marketing agency
- Proven excellent project management skills, including the ability to create and manage project plans, budgets, and timelines
- Proven great communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and stakeholders
- Demonstrated high proficiency in project management tool Adobe Workfront
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office365, including SharePoint and PowerPoint
- Proven deep knowledge of video production processes, including pre-production, production, and post-production
- Demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to implement feedback from clients and stakeholders to enhance the quality and effectiveness of video projects
- Ability to collaborate with team members to address any identified issues or areas for improvement
- Ability to understand the total competencies of each team member to build an effective and dynamic team
- Experience and relationships with established video production freelancers, particularly in Twin Cities metro
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $89,900 to $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
