We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Lead – RPA Infrastructure to lead our Automation Technologies Support team. This role involves overseeing the setup, maintenance, and optimization of RPA environments across production and non-production servers. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with leadership capabilities to guide a team of infrastructure engineers, ensuring seamless delivery and support of RPA services.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Strategy
- Lead and mentor a team of RPA Infrastructure Engineers
- Define and drive infrastructure strategy for RPA environments
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align infrastructure goals with business objectives
- Infrastructure Oversight
- Oversee provisioning and maintenance of Windows servers, VDIs, and Azure environments
- Ensure high availability and performance of UiPath Orchestrator and related applications
- Manage PLM activities including upgrades and patching of RPA tools and target applications
- Automation and Optimization
- Drive automation of routine infrastructure tasks using PowerShell or other scripting tools
- Implement monitoring and alerting solutions using Splunk, Elastic, and Kibana
- Support and Troubleshooting
- Provide escalation support for production and non-production environments
- Lead root cause analysis and resolution of infrastructure issues
- Ensure database health and archival processes are maintained
- Collaboration and Communication
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for requirement gathering and cost estimation
- Support QA and deployment activities
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of IT experience with 3+ years in RPA infrastructure roles
- Hands-on experience with UiPath Orchestrator and virtual server environments
- Hands-on experience with AI tools such as Copilot and ChatGPT, along with a solid understanding of common AI terminology
- Hands-on experience in Python programming, including practical application in real-world projects
- Solid understanding of system administration, PLM processes, and automation tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Experience with Azure, SQL Server 2019, VRA/VRO, and scripting languages
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Splunk and Elastic
