Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Reconcile, analyze and review general ledger accounts for month end close
  • Prepare journal entries and review accounting classifications, in accordance with GAAP
  • Assist with Capital Accounting and Reporting
  • Reconcile Intercompany and Intracompany transactions
  • Reconcile and maintain Fixed Assets 
  • Assist with month end close process including preparing and analyzing financial statements
  • Assist with the month end consolidation and reporting requirements
  • Assist with in preparing documentation in support of external and internal audits
  • Perform ad hoc reporting and complex analysis; investigate issues providing explanations and interpretation
  • Perform work in self-directed manner and work with less structured, more complex issues
  • Assist with the development, documentation, and implementation of effective internal and financial system controls, policies, and procedures
  • Work with IT on system related initiatives, testing functionality and integrations for upgrades and enhancements
  • May review work of team members for accuracy and alignment of work

Required Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of related experience in professional accounting
  • Experience working in a detail-oriented role with high level of accuracy and sound judgement
  • Experience communicating professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Experience effectively managing time and completing multiple tasks, while continually meeting critical deadlines and responding to changing priorities
  • Experience identifying solutions to non-standard requests and complex problems
  • Experience solving moderately complex analyses
  • Knowledge of GAAP

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related field
  • Costpoint experience
  • Audit experience 
  • Government accounting experience including experience with CAS and FAR and familiarity on Indirect Rate Pools

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $71,200 to $127,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
