Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care for individuals with infectious diseases including HIV, Hepatitis B & C, Lyme disease, and chronic wound infections
• Perform phone triage duties, communicating with patients and other external stakeholders
• Administer travel-related vaccinations for pediatric through geriatric patients
• Collaborate with providers to manage care plans and coordinate services such as IV therapy
• Work independently while supporting and being supported by a small team 
• Participate in cross-training and provide occasional support to other departments
• Maintain and follow strict safety protocols and infection control procedures
• Assist in scheduling and managing daily clinic operations, including phone coverage and patient appointments
• Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records in accordance with clinical standards
• Support continuity of care through communication with interdisciplinary teams and external care providers

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited RN program
• Currently licensed as an RN in the state of Massachusetts
• 1+ years of hands-on nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR Certification

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Clinical experience in Infectious Disease or Internal Medicine
• EPIC experience
• Experience in an ambulatory care setting with telephone triage

 

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $28.27 to $50.48 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
