We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Lead UX/UI Engineer to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will drive developing applications of user interfaces (UI), creating front end web applications for our internal generative AI chatbots. This individual contributor role involves collaborating with other AI engineers to ensure seamless integration of web apps with AI models.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, code, test, document, and maintain high-quality and scalable Big Data, Cloud solutions
- Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and resilient web applications using Java and modern JavaScript frameworks (React.js, TypeScript)
- Lead the front-end and back-end development efforts, ensuring seamless integration and responsive application behavior
- Research, evaluate, and deploy new tools, frameworks, and patterns to build sustainable Big Data platform
- Define and develop APIs for integration with various data sources in the enterprise
- Analyze and define customer requirements
- Create prototypes, proof-of-concepts & design and code reviews
- Collaborate with management, quality assurance, architecture, and other development teams
- Write technical documentation and participate in production support
- Keep skills up to date through ongoing self-directed training
- Implement and maintain containerized applications using Kubernetes, managing deployment, scaling, and networking
- Employ Git for source control and GitHub Actions for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows
- Monitor the health of applications, implementing logging and monitoring solutions to preemptively resolve potential issues
- Analyze existing applications for performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations to enhance user experience
- Collaborate with project managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Demonstrated ability in managing and scaling large-scale applications with a focus on optimizing application performance
- Solid experience in implementing logging, monitoring, and alerting tools
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
- Solid communication and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of working in agile environments

Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years of total IT experience in hands-on software development, UX/UI design
- 4+ years of experience in developing (frontend, backend, or full stack) such as React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, Pyral, Node JS or Angular
- 2+ years of experience in implementing front-end with LLM models responses in Azure cloud platform and webapp deployments
- 2+ years of experience with Agile/Scrum methodology and best practices
- 2+ years of experience with Github, Jenkins CI/CD, JUnit and Docker
- 2+ years of experience in development with Python and/or Pyspark
- 2+ years of experience in SQL working with databases like SQL Server, Oracle, mySQL or similar
Preferred Qualifications:
- Data analysis experience
- Functional testing experience
- Healthcare industry experience
- Understanding of SOA (service-oriented architecture) concepts
- Excellent analysis, process, problem solving and critical thinking skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $89,900 to $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
