Primary Responsibilities:

• Centralized scheduling, making appointment, outreach to patients
• Greets patients as they arrive and manages 15-minute wait time
• Assists patient with intake processes including copying required documents
• Collects co – payments, co – insurance and deductibles and issues receipts
• Processes walk – in patients and visitors
• Answers phones and schedules appointments
• Receive referrals for provider/specialist
• Verify insurance eligibility
• Schedule appointments with specialist
• Communicate with patients and providers regarding referral status

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED OR 2+ years of medical office experience
• 2+ years of experience working in insurance and/or with referrals
• 1+ years of customer service experience

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic level of computer proficiency (including Microsoft Office)
• Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette 
• Data entry experience 
• Ability to multi-task

 

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $17.74 to $31.63 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable
