Primary Responsibilities:

  • Fully proficient TPM assigned more complex work and additional prioritization responsibilities on a single, primary product
  • Functions as dedicated Technical Product Owner (TPO) accountable for successful execution of multiple right sized, preferably co-located agile development teams. Responsible for backlog prioritization and refinement according to direction from Strategic Product Management (SPM) and other TPM leads
  • Ability to drive discovery and detail requirements at the feature or capability level with minimal guidance and oversight
    Fully proficient understanding of the role of technical product management, agile practices and the SDLC. Fluent in existing product tools for tracking and user story creation (Aha, Rally)
  • Able to articulate detailed product overview, benefits, and associated personas. Ability to provide quality product demonstrations
  • Follows existing and defined requirements gathering and PI execution process while considering and driving improvement opportunities
  • Participates and presents PI plans for teams in PI planning events
  • Fully proficient/expert level of experience in discovery, requirement definition and user story definition. Can write quality stories, manage multi team and product dependencies (exs: UAT, tech writer, UX, other dev teams), and accept quality enhancements without oversight
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in product management, including technical product management
  • 4+ years of product owner experience working on multiple agile scrum teams
  • Proven excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills
  • Fully proficient understanding of the basics of the role of technical product management, agile practices/methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Fully proficient level of experience in discovery, requirement definition and user story definition

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified scrum product owner
  • Knowledge of product tools including Aha and Rally
  • Experience with healthcare IT and/or knowledge of hospital revenue cycle
