Primary Responsibilities:

  • Application Support & Maintenance:
    • Provide production support for full-stack applications, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests
    • Monitor application performance and availability; identify and resolve issues proactively
    • Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes for recurring problems
    • Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and post-release support
  • Development & Enhancements
    • Contribute to minor enhancements, bug fixes, and technical improvements across the stack
    • Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
    • Support front-end development and troubleshooting using React and JavaScript
    • Write efficient SQL and PL/SQL queries for Oracle database operations
  • Documentation & Reporting
    • Maintain accurate documentation for support procedures, known issues, and resolutions
    • Create knowledge base articles and contribute to continuous improvement of support processes
    • Track and report on incident trends and improvement opportunities
  • Collaboration & Communication
    • Work closely with business analysts, senior developers, and stakeholders to understand problem statements and incidents
    • Communicate effectively with users and team members to provide updates and gather feedback
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack application development and support
  • Experience with React and modern JavaScript frameworks
  • Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines
  • Solid understanding of Oracle SQL/PLSQL and database queries
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and integration patterns
  • Solid proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for backend development and support
  • Proven solid analytical and debugging skills, especially in production support environments
  • Proven good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to manage priorities and deliver within SLAs in a fast-paced support setting

Preferred Qualification:

  • Proven exposure to Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, ServiceNow
