A dedicated and skilled 1st Tier Helpdesk Technician to provide remote support to users via calls, email, and chat. The ideal candidate will possess general technical skills and a strong commitment to customer service.

You will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level technical support to users through calls, email, and chat
  • Diagnose and resolve basic technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-tier support or specialized teams as necessary
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all support interactions and resolutions
  • Follow established processes and procedures to ensure consistent and efficient support
  • Assist users with account setup, password resets, and access issues
  • Monitor and respond to support requests in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and security protocols
  • Remote work environment
  • Flexible working hours may be required to support users in different time zones
  • Access to reliable internet and necessary equipment for remote support

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • 1+ years of experience with computer systems, software applications, or network troubleshooting
  • 1+ years of experience with any common operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)/ software applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment
  • Proficiency in using remote support tools and ticketing systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality support
  • Ability to adapt to changing technologies and processes
  • Previous experience in a helpdesk or technical support role
  • Basic understanding of network concepts and troubleshooting

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The hourly pay for this role will range from $20.00 to $35.72 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
