Supervisor of Medical and Clinical Operations
This position is Onsite. Our office is located at California Hospital Medical Center, 1401 S Grand Ave Los Angeles, CA 90015.

This position is full-time, Monday – Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:00am – 4:00pm with rotating on call weekend work. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.
We offer 8 weeks of on-the-job training. The hours during training will be 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday – Friday.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for emergency department registration staff
- Have a working knowledge of computer applications
- Demonstrate, leadership and analytical thinking capability
- Requires working knowledge of insurance including Commercial Contracts, Managed Care, and Government Programs including Federal, State, and local agencies
- Have knowledge of basic medical terminology
- Organizes workflow to ensure accurate and timely team performance
- Supervises the work schedule, always ensuring adequate and appropriate coverage of all positions
- Selects, and delegates training and orientation of new staff
- Assigns staff responsibilities and evaluates performance
- Counsels’ employees on problem areas of registration and performance

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Must be 18 years of age OR older
- 2+ years of experience working in a hospital patient registration department or physician office setting
- 1 + years of supervisor /management or team lead experience in healthcare
- Experience verifying patient insurance
- Working knowledge of medical benefits & medical terminology
- Ability to work full-time onsite in the emergency department at California Hospital Medical Center, 1401 S Grand Ave Los Angeles, CA 90015
- Ability to train for the first 8 weeks between Monday – Friday, 9:00AM – 05:00PM

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual fluency in English and any other language
- 2+ years of in ER Registration
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $58,800 – $105,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
