The UX Analyst will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing digital-first experiences across the Optum sales and client lifecycle. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, translate them into business cases, and partner with Technology teams to prioritize and execute. This role is ideal for early-career professionals passionate about technology modernization, user experience, and design thinking.

This position follows a hybrid schedule with four in-office days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, and usability testing to inform design decisions
  • Develop business cases to drive prioritization and decision making and gain alignment from a cross-functional set of stakeholders 
  • Build & maintain user personas, journey maps, and experience documentation
  • Work with cross-functional teams and drive the work forward, including Technology, Sales, Product, etc to align on goals and timelines 
  • Draft communications, presentations, and briefing materials for senior leaders and steering committees and ensure the launch is as expected

Required Qualifications: 

  • Undergraduate degree 
  • Experience with tools like Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, etc
  • Demonstrated solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of professional work experience 
  • Consulting and/or healthcare experience and/or involvement with clubs
  • Demonstrated outstanding academic achievement
  • Demonstrated to be comfortable working in matrixed organizations and cross-functional teams
  • Proven to be adaptable and comfortable in ambiguity and high-impact situations

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $89,900 to $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
