Primary Responsibilities: 

This position’s job function maintains and enhances relationships with state regulators and interfaces with business regarding regulatory affairs. Other general responsibilities include responding to inquiries, requests and actions by state regulators, including complaints and requests for assistance, tracking new laws and regulations in coordination with state attorney leads, and anticipates regulatory issues.

Specifically, this position will support the Individual and Family Plans (IFP) Qualified Health Plan (QHP) certification filings and regulatory readiness activities. Responsibilities include aligning with the business to:

  • Finalize required QHP Templates owned by business
  • Coordinate QHP Template correction with business following data reviews
  • Coordinate tracking/analysis of objections for trending and identification of opportunities for business
  • Coordinate Plan Preview/Window Shopping for FFM and SBM Exchanges before Open Enrollment
  • Project manage filing milestones from end-to-end perspective
  • Develops processes, procedures, SOPs on IFP Regulatory Program Management processes
  • Liaison with various business areas to facilitate alignment and improve collaboration on QHP Certification process amongst teams
  • Facilitate CMS certification-related activities, including machine readable file posting, submitting, tracking and reporting CMS Help Desk tickets and submitting Data Change Requests
  • Engage with business and legal SMEs as appropriate
  • Additional research, tracking, and other ad hoc tasks as identified

Required Qualifications: 

  • 4+ years of experience working in health care, managed care and/or health insurance
  • 4+ years of experience managing projects or programs
  • Experience with regulatory affairs (e.g. reviewing legislation), compliance, or health policy development
  • Experience communicating complex information via phone conversations, meeting forums, and emails to non-technical clients, external customers, internal customers and executives
  • Experience interacting and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders (other team members, internal customers and executives)

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with Individual and Family Plans (i.e., ACA plans)
  • Expertise in regulatory affairs or compliance

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $71,200 to $127,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
