Collections Support – Asset Recovery – Makati City, NCR – Fixed Term Contract

We are seeking proactive and detail-oriented contractors to support the Asset Recovery team in Collections. The primary responsibility of this role is to engage with former employees and coordinate the recovery of company-owned assets, including laptops and peripheral accessories, in a timely and professional manner. Contractors will also assist former employees in scheduling asset pickups from their respective locations, monitor pickup status, and ensure the smooth and efficient collection of all company assets.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Initiate and manage communication via chat, phone and email with former employees regarding the return of company-issued assets
- Track and document all outreach efforts, responses, and recovery status in internal systems
- Coordinate with logistics and courier partners to facilitate asset pickups and returns. Must be street smart and know how to book Grab/Lalamove
- Escalate unresolved or sensitive cases to the appropriate internal stakeholders and escalation SPOCs
- Maintain accurate records of recovered items and update asset inventory IT team accordingly.
Collaborate with HR, IT, and Finance teams to ensure alignment of recovery processes and cost implications - Adhere to company policies and maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or college undergraduate with equivalent experience
- 1+ years of prior experience in customer service, collections calling profile or asset recovery is preferred
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven good English communication skills both oral and written including Chat
- Proven organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Ability to handle sensitive conversations with professionalism and empathy
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and familiarity with asset tracking systems
- Tech-savvy; proficient in using apps like Grab, Lalamove, and other digital tools for operational support
- Solid negotiation skills, especially in vendor coordination and service arrangements
- Highly detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy and thoroughness
- Resourceful and proactive in solving problems and finding efficient solutions
- Possesses a pleasing personality and professional demeanor
- Friendly and approachable; able to build positive relationships with colleagues and partners
