Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with lead data scientists to improve business processes using data science tools
• Translate business requirements into analytical solutions
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends and generate actionable insights
• Develop and deploy algorithms aligned with business needs
• Document work for production support and transition readiness
• Build domain knowledge in U.S. Healthcare
• Explore new data sources and deliver insights
• Respond to business analysis requests and create findings using UHG-specific databases
• Interact with business users to gather requirements
• Develop presentations and documentation to communicate insights
• Perform quality checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and ensure timely delivery
• Engage in client communications for requirements, enhancements, and solution design
• Propose innovative technologies and approaches for solving business problem

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in data wrangling, data cleaning, and data transformation
• Cloud: 4+ years in Azure (preferred), with experience in Azure Data Factory, AKS, and Azure Functions
• Programming: Python, SQL, Spark
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in statistical analysis and exploratory data analysis (EDA)
• Ability to interpret data and present findings through visualizations and dashboards
• Proficient in Tableau and Power BI for dashboards and reporting
• Knowledge of report automation and data validation techniques
