The Director, General Management (GL30) provides strategic leadership and is accountable for the performance and direction of a large business contract through multiple layers of management and senior-level professional staff. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategies that span across functions and disciplines, driving operational excellence, and delivering impactful outcomes for internal and external stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a large-scale business contract with full accountability for performance, strategy, and execution
- Provide leadership across multiple layers of management and senior professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability
- Develop and implement strategic plans that align with organizational goals and drive cross-functional impact
- Direct resolution of complex business problems affecting multiple functions or disciplines
- Make product, service, or process decisions that influence multiple customer accounts and internal operations
- Oversee large-scale system implementations including testing, validation, system operations, and technical support services
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of initiatives and continuous improvement
- Represent the organization in high-level discussions with state government entities and other strategic partners

Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in the State Government sector, with a solid preference for candidates with direct experience in State-Based Exchange (SBE) programs
- Proven track record in leading large-scale system implementations, including testing, validation, operations, and support services
- Solid written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive strategic initiatives across complex organizational structures
- Ability to travel 25 to 50% based on client need
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with healthcare technology platforms or public health systems
- Experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies and applications
- Familiarity with federal and state regulatory environments related to health exchanges and Medicaid
- Understanding and commitment to Responsible AI principles and practices

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $132,200 to $226,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
