As the Advisory Director of Supply Chain Enablement – Remote you are the architect and strategic leader of our consulting practice’s operational success. This is a pivotal role focused on building and scaling the essential infrastructure – tools, methodologies, and processes – that empowers our entire consulting organization. You will be responsible for creating a delivery model that enhances quality, profitability, and accelerates sales cycles. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, finance, and operations, acting as a force multiplier for our teams. You will serve as a key sponsor for our methodologies, a subject matter expert for complex client challenges, and a senior escalation point for key accounts, ensuring the frameworks you build are practical, effective, and drive business growth.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Strategic Practice Development & Innovation
- Own the Consulting Playbook: Design, develop, and own the firm’s complete set of standardized consulting templates, operational playbooks, and delivery policies
- Contribute to Practice Strategy: Partner with the Sr. Director in annual strategic planning, providing critical insights on operational capabilities, investment in new tools, and opportunities for service delivery innovation to drive the practice’s growth and profitability
- Standardize Methodologies: Establish and govern the consistent application of critical frameworks across all engagements, including savings validation methodologies and strategic sourcing processes
- Drive Tool & Technology Strategy: Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new tools and products, including managing pilot programs for AI copilots, workflow automation, and contract libraries
- Champion Knowledge Management: Establish and manage a central knowledge repository to capture and organize institutional wisdom, including best-in-class deliverables, lessons-learned, and other intellectual capital
- Maintain External Market Intelligence: Act as a subject matter expert by attending industry conferences and monitoring trends. Translate external market insights and competitor analysis into actionable improvements for our internal tools, strategies, and service offerings
- Sales & Client Relationship Management
- Develop Sales Toolkit: Partner with the Sr. Director to standardize and scale sales support materials, including a library of RFP responses, proposal templates, pitch decks, and client case studies
- Provide Pursuit Support: Act as a key strategic resource in the sales process, confidently presenting our methodologies and value proposition in client finalist presentations
- Serve as a Client Escalation Point: Act as a senior point of contact for clients on strategic issues, serving as an escalation path beyond the delivery Leads and Directors to resolve complex challenges related to methodology, quality, or performance
- Performance, Financial & Quality Management
- Build & Maintain Performance Dashboards: Develop and manage a suite of performance dashboards for leadership, tracking key metrics such as savings initiative progress, FTE utilization, and project margins
- Drive Financial & Operational Acumen: Analyze performance data to provide the Sr. Director with insights on practice profitability, consultant efficiency, and the financial impact of enablement initiatives
- Synthesize Cross-Team Reporting: Serve as the central point for operational reporting, compiling inputs from Managed Services and Advisory teams into unified, executive-level summaries
- Facilitate Quality Assurance: Provide the standardized frameworks for quality and lead a QA feedback loop, equipping the Sr. Director with the necessary data to drive accountability
- Cross-Functional Leadership & Change Management
- Serve as a “Swing Resource” & SME: Strategically deploy across teams to provide high-impact support and expert guidance on complex category implementations (e.g., Med/Surg, Purchased Services, etc.)
- Sponsor & Lead Change Adoption: Act as a sponsor and champion for practice-wide initiatives. Develop and execute comprehensive change management plans for the rollout of new tools and processes
- Oversee Enablement Training: In partnership with delivery Directors, develop the core training materials and curriculum for all standard tools and methodologies

Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in healthcare supply chain, with a solid background in management consulting leadership
- Leadership: 5+ years of proven experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior-level peers and C-suite stakeholders in a matrixed environment
- Deep Category Expertise: 4+ years of hands-on experience leading savings and implementation initiatives across multiple core healthcare categories, such as Med/Surg, CV/Orthopedics, Non-Clinical (Support Services, Purchased Services, Facilities), Laboratory, Pharmacy, and Capital Equipment
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and dashboarding/BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
- Strategic & Financial Acumen: Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business growth, connect operational improvements to financial outcomes, and contribute to practice-level planning
- Communication: Proven exceptional executive presence and communication skills, with a proven ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to C-suite audiences
- Ability to travel up to 75%; Travel realistically usually around 25%
Preferred Qualifications:
- Management consulting experience from a top-tier firm
- Direct experience designing and implementing savings validation methodologies and GPO contracting strategies
- Familiarity with major healthcare ERP and SCM platforms (e.g., Workday, Oracle Cloud, Infor Lawson)

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $132,200 to $226,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
