The Site Level Trainer / Pharmacy Liaison will be responsible for assisting new hire and existing Liaisons develop the skills and knowledge required to successfully execute the embedded specialty pharmacy model of care at their designated client site focusing mainly on Chronic Disease Management (CDM). The goal of the Site Level Trainer will be to conduct informative training sessions, promote company efficiency, and improve the skills of Pharmacy Liaisons within the organization in conjunction with the rest of the Training Team and Site Leadership.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Training Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Corporate Training Team to support day-to-day activities that may be impacted by training activities
- Participate in monthly (weekly when actively training a new hire on site) meetings with the Corporate Training Team
- Provide detailed logs and documentation of training activities for each new hire you train
- Conduct scheduled follow-ups with new hires
- Relay trends and critical areas of improvement to the Corporate Training Team
- Work one-on-one with new hires to familiarize them with your site, services offered, general workflow, etc., while using tools and resources created by the Corporate Training Team (i.e., handouts, checklists, etc.)
- Maintain a standard level of proficiency in Arbor in when working with site systems
- Ensure that new hires abide by the onboarding schedule approved by leadership, and relay changes or deviations to the training team as soon as they are discovered
- Work with site leadership to provide S.M.A.R.T. goals for team members (active team development, to ensure a more active role in creating a more effective team)
- Pharmacy Liaison Responsibilities:
- Greeting patients upon arrival to the clinic
- Explaining the benefits of our specialty pharmacy and successfully enrolling patients into the program
- Performing all insurance benefit investigations, prior authorization, claim rejects, overrides, etc.
- Working with patients to find financial aid (grants, manufacture programs, discount cards, etc.) to ensure they have access to the medications they need
- Data/order entry and verification of patient information
- Providing direct support to enrolled patients to ensure that they are supported throughout their therapy regimen and achieve their intended outcome. This includes:
- Conducting outbound phone calls for patient support, adherence checks and refill reminders
- Appropriately triaging any clinical questions to the appropriate clinician (pharmacist, nurse or provider)
- Participating in conferences and workshops to help promote CPS
Hospital Requirements: (may be required):
- (PPD) TB Skin Test – Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
- (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
- Varicella – (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
- Hep B3 Series
- (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
- COVID Vaccine-Full

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Registered, or the ability to become registered, as a pharmacy technician in the applicable state
- Experience interacting with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals (preferably in a medical clinic)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a pharmacy liaison/technician
- Knowledge of benefit investigations, prior authorization support and patient financial assistance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, EMR systems (EPIC, Cerner or Meditech) and dispensing systems (QS1, RX30 or Computer Rx)
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $58,800 to $105,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
