About the role:
As a Senior Product Manager within our Emisar team, you’ll help with developing products for our pharmaceutical /manufacturer partners to meet emerging requirements in advanced analytics through developing key insights using modeling, analysis and reporting. Working Schedule: This is a full-time position with standard working hours of Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm.
Careers with Optum offer flexible work arrangements and individuals who live and work in the Republic of Ireland will have the opportunity to split their monthly work hours between our Dublin or Letterkenny office and telecommuting from a home-based office in a hybrid work model.
Primary Responsibilities of the Senior Product Manager:

Define the vision for the product in collaboration with relevant stakeholders and business partners to understand and anticipate their needs

Develop, maintain, and oversee delivery of the product roadmap
-
Prioritize features/functionality for development based on business need. Manage and communicate the product backlog to all relevant stakeholders
-
Translate business need into clearly documented requirements and work with Technical Product Owner/Delivery leads to refine as appropriate
-
Work with Business team and Operations team to fully understand and clarify the requirements as appropriate
-
In collaboration with Business partners, define and clearly articulate success and acceptance criteria based on a solid understanding and measuring of business value

Co-ordinate with the Operations team to ensure UAT is completed and signed off adequately ahead of deployments

Provide approval/sign off for added features, functionality & defect fixes ahead of releases

Work with the Operations team to oversee solution rollout

Manage issue escalation as appropriate

Ensure solution integration, leading business process development as appropriate

Regular attendance and engagement at scrum ceremonies for example, sprint planning, sprint reviews and retrospectives, backlog review and refinement calls etc.

Liaise with leadership, management teams, end-users, and stakeholders, and provide status updates regularly

Develop and maintain relevant documentation

Support general Product Management activities and ad hoc requests as required
Required Qualifications of the Senior Product Manager:
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
-
Product Owner / Management experience in an Agile environment, working with Agile Processes, Principals & Tools
-
Demonstrated experience building roadmaps, managing backlogs, and working with technical development teams to drive delivery
-
Experience translating business requirements into Capabilities, Features and User Stories
-
Stakeholder management experience, with strong communication skills and an ability to build collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams
-
Experience with User Acceptance Testing and associated activities
-
Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote)
-
Experience with Road mapping and Backlog management tools such as Aha and Rally
-
Experience working on large scale and high impact projects
-
Experience leading process improvement/optimization activities.
-
Process automation experience
-
Ability to quickly build subject matter expertise.
-
Familiarity with the HealthCare industry
-
Technical skills including basic SQL an advantage but not essential

Experience working with transactional data in industries such as Healthcare, Financial Services, Banking or Telco
Soft Skills of the Senior Product Manager:

Effective leadership, decision making, prioritization and problem-solving skills

Ability to work under pressure in a demanding environment and be adaptable to change
