As an Administrative Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing support for the Medicaid Operations and Compliance team with essential support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of Medicaid activities. This role involves managing schedules, coordinating meetings and events, preparing reports and documentation, and serving as a liaison between the Medicaid team and external partners. The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for maintaining organized records, handling confidential information with discretion, and assisting with project coordination and operational logistics. Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills are critical to success in this role

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support Medicaid Operations team & activities
  • Build and foster partnerships relating to Medicaid Programs
  • Coordinate and attend various community meetings
  • Collaborate with internal & external stakeholders to reach underserved populations
  • Promote health plan benefits and services
  • Support membership growth and retention strategies
  • Support community facing population health & health equity initiatives
  • Influence/advocate new growth and outreach strategies to drive behavior change and meet business goals
  • Develop and cultivate relationships with pertinent community organizations, providers, and leaders

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • 2+ years of related experience in sales, direct marketing or customer service capacity
  • 2+ years of experience managing multiple projects/tasks
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time within the assigned territory
  • Access to reliable transportation & valid US driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Medicaid
  • Familiarity with regulations & compliance
  • Bilingual English/Spanish

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Proven success with time management and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative
  • Exceptional written, verbal, analytical, organizational, problem solving and presentational skills

Telecommuting Requirements:

  • Reside within commutable distance to the office at 2720 N Tenaya Way Las Vegas, Nevada
  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The hourly pay for this role will range from $20.00 to $35.72 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
