Software Engineer – Java FSD

In this role, you will be involved in developing innovative business solutions by creating new applications, modifying existing applications and providing post production support. Predominantly you will be designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting all types of applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver value to our organization.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Full Stack Engineer – Responsible for Design, Development, Implementation, Quality and Delivery in Azure
- Tech Stack : Java, springboot, Angular, PGFS, Python, Microsoft Azure, Github Actions etc.
- Design, implement and maintain Java based application within all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Learn newer and varied tech stack as per the demands of the project
- Well adept in using AI SDLC tools like Github Copilot, etc.
- Develop, test, implement and maintain application software working with established processes
- Communicate effectively with other engineers and QA
- Establish, refine, and integrate development and test environment tools and software as needed
- Identify production and non-production application issues
- Identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications of Java developed projects
- Provide technical support and consultation for Java application and infrastructure questions Serve as a mentor to less experienced Developers
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Graduate or Postgraduate in Computer Science /Engineering/Science/Mathematics or related field with around 5+ years of experience in executing the Java projects
- Cloud Certification, preferably Azure
- Technical skills: - Technical Experience: Java, J2EE, spring boot, Postgres, (Angular OR React would be a good to have skill, not mandatory)
- Hands on experience on building, maintaining, optimizing, or modernizing applications on (or to) Public Cloud, preferably Azure, show-casing event driven, elastically scalable, fault tolerant and other cloud native architecture patterns
- Solid experience in Core Java, Spring, spring boot and Hibernate/Spring Data JPA
- Experience in SOA based architecture, Web Services (SOAP/REST)
- Experience in continuous integration (Github actions/Sonar/etc.) – Good to have
- Hands on experience on PostgreSQL (Required) and Oracle
- Experience in using profiler tools (JProfiler/JMeter (Good to have))
- Good understanding of UML and design patterns
- Good understanding on Performance tuning
- Positions in this function are predominantly involved in developing business solutions by creating new and modifying existing software applications. Primary contributor in designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and supporting all types of applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value.
 
Preferred Qualification:
- Experience in Kafka or Pulsar
