The Associate People Business Partner will provide support to leaders and employees across Enterprise Technology, Infrastructure & Platform Services to contribute on a broad range of business priorities, including culture building, workforce strategy, organization effectiveness, talent agenda, leadership development, and employee experience. You will engage and lead cross functional projects designed to enable our employees to build skills and capabilities for today and tomorrow. The People Business Partner will function as a leadership coach and advise business leaders on all matters linked to organizational effectiveness. This position helps to create and execute talent initiatives that directly ties to the business strategy in ways that increase financial savings and growth results.

The role will partner closely with senior leaders in the business and colleagues across the People Team to drive key results on business priorities. The People Business Partner develops solutions that demonstrate our values, with a special emphasis on creating a performance-based culture and a positive team environment. Working with the leadership teams, this position will provide People Business Partner support for ~2,000 employees.

Additionally, the People Business Partner will leverage artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance talent strategies and drive organizational transformation. By utilizing advanced analytics and AI-driven tools, this role will identify workforce trends and support data-informed decision making that aligns with business goals. These efforts will help streamline operations, improve employee experience, and ensure the organization remains agile and competitive in a rapidly evolving healthcare technology landscape.

You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop solid partnerships with the management team of your client groups to understand the business, identify talent/leadership needs, and help design creative solutions to facilitate delivery of business priorities
  • Uses a consulting framework to improve the health and effectiveness of the organization through various methods, tools and techniques impacting business results. Examples including organization design, change enablement and leadership, workforce planning, effective leadership, and coaching
  • Leverages AI, data and analytic skills to drive decision making and action. Designs, develops, and deploys solutions through on-going analysis and tying multiple data sets together to recommend action aligned with business strategies
  • Understands the organizational talent strategy, talent plans and supply chain of internal and external talent. Drives business talent strategy and plans by applying talent acquisition, workforce planning, total rewards and inclusion and diversity practices to drive talent outcomes
  • Deep understanding of culture, diversity and the drivers impacting a positive employee experience, especially for integrating employee populations. Fosters inclusion, diversity, and culture practices to create and maintain a positive, rewarding, and inclusive environment
  • Financial understanding and business operations knowledge. Understands how the business unit operates, major categories of cost and profit generation. Able to articulate the strategy, customer base and external factors impacting the business
  • Provide consultation to managers on compensation actions including salary planning, promotions, incentive compensation, and job architecture work
  • Support leaders to create an environment that encourages team member inclusion and engagement. In partnership with the People Team COE, work with leadership teams to create a leader-led, enabled culture of engagement and inclusion
  • Support and facilitate change management initiatives. Partner with leaders and People Team colleagues to effectively communicate and implement strategies to help evolve the organization to meet short and long-range goals

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of People Team experience
  • Experience working within a matrixed environment at a global organization
  • Experience developing talent strategies and executing plans aligned with the culture and overall employee experience to drive business outcomes
  • Experience leading organization design and facilitating change effectively
  • Demonstrated experience applying data and analytics to influence decision making and business outcomes
  • Experience in constructively addressing conflicts, in personal encounters, and in encounters between other parties
  • Demonstrated competence in leading and driving the talent agenda, including developing a solid leadership bench
  • Proven consulting and influencing skills across diverse types of critical stakeholders
  • Practices appropriate awareness in dealing with sensitive, confidential information; an elevated level of demonstrated discretion and judgment
  • Open to occasional / periodic travel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with employee-related aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures
  • Experience in introducing and implementing new workforce strategies such as globalization, staff augmentation, automation, and others
  • Experience working with technology teams charged with delivering transformative programs of diverse scope in a large matrixed company
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness in setting priorities, working around obstacles and challenges to drive for results
  • Demonstrated clear, concise, and compelling communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated organized and logically minded with the ability to drive various priorities with multiple stakeholders
  • Comfortable to work within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions for self and others

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $110,200 to $188,800 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
