This is an exciting role in the Enterprise Reporting & Analytics (ERA) team supporting the Optum Home and Community Care Delivery division within UnitedHealth Group. This role will be ideal for someone with an analytical and technical mind-set who can operate in a fast-paced environment while learning new tools and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders to build novel solutions. They will be responsible for analysis, development, testing and support activities related to Microsoft SharePoint/Power Platform low-code development solutions for the Home and Community business and clinical teams. Key activities include fielding support requests, facilitating requirements discovery sessions for strategic initiatives, business process definition, analysis, development, testing and reporting.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and support Microsoft Power Platform solutions to enhance, streamline or automate processes
  • Gather, analyze, and define business requirements
  • Drive adoption of solutions using technology to solve user or business unit workflow needs
  • Participate in and/or support testing activities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power Platform apps, Power Automate flows, Dataverse tables or SharePoint Online
  • Support end-users with answering questions, developing training materials and conducting training activities as needed
  • Keep current on technology trends, capabilities, and upcoming changes to further advance the platform and provide systems to meet business needs
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, Business, Finance, Health Administration, related field or 2+ years equivalent work experience
  • Overall 8+ years of experience
  • 3+ year of experience building solutions in Microsoft Power Apps (specifically with canvas apps)
  • 3+ year of experience building workflows in Microsoft Power Automate
  • 3+ year of experience with SharePoint Online configuration (Lists, Site pages, user permissions)
  • Data analysis experience
  • Detail-oriented with solid analytical skills

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with User Experience and Design concepts
  • Report and dashboard design and development experience
  • Power Platform architecture, implementation, and usage to drive automation
  • Working with RESTful APIs and handling JSON data
  • Working with relational data and SQL programming
  • Comfortable with frequent refinements in priorities and scope
  • Knowledge of change, incident, and project management procedures and best practices
