This position is full-time. Employees are required to work 8 hour shifts during our normal business hours of 8:15am – 5:00pm CST (Central Standard Time). It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional weekends or overtime.

We offer 3 weeks of paid training. The hours of training will be aligned with your schedule.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provides elevated, concierge-style Customer Service to Regional Sales Leaders, Divisional Sales Leaders, Satellite Divisional Sales Leaders and top performing Agents
  • Responds to Agent e-mails and phone calls, including the CS mailbox 
  • Researches and resolves New Business, claim, or benefits issues for Field Leaders and top-performing Agents
  • Ensures all inquiries are thoroughly reviewed, analyzed and responded to in a timely manner
  • Assists management with special projects
  • Ensures established Company guidelines and state regulations are maintained and adhered to
  • Develops strong working relationships with Field Leaders
  • Shows kindness, warmth and caring to all Agents at all times

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • 1+ years of customer service experience within health insurance industry to include brokers, agents and/or benefit accounts
  • 1+ years of current or prior experience within US Health Group
  • Intermediate level of experience using a computer and Microsoft Office including Microsoft Word (create correspondence and work within templates), Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar management), and Microsoft Excel (data entry, sort / filter, and work within tables)
  • Ability to work full-time. Employees are required to work 8-hour shifts during our normal business hours of 8:15am – 5:00pm CST (Central Standard Time). It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional weekends or overtime
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AS400, OZ, LegaSuites
  • Ability to obtain 215 Health and Life Insurance License within approximately 90 days of employment (training and cost provided by UHG)

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $20.00 to $35.72 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
