We are seeking a talented data engineer to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of our data infrastructure. As a data engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines and systems that enable efficient data processing, storage, and analysis. Your expertise in C# and .NET will be valuable in building and maintaining data solutions that leverage these technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data requirements and implement scalable and reliable solutions that meet their needs.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using the following
  • C# .NET
  • SSIS
  • Java
  • SQL Server
  • Oracle
  • Collaborate with data scientists, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Build and optimize databases, data warehouses, and data lakes to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of data
  • Implement data integration solutions to collect data from various sources and ensure data quality and integrity
  • Perform data cleansing, transformation, and aggregation to prepare data for analysis and reporting
  • Develop and maintain data processing and analytics frameworks
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and systems to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Implement security and privacy measures to protect sensitive data throughout the data lifecycle

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience with data modeling, database design, and SQL
  • Familiarity with data integration tools and technologies
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies
  • Solid proficiency in C# and .NET development
  • Solid proficiency in Genesys A3S cloud reporting platform
  • Solid proficiency in Genesys Info Mart
  • Proficiency in working with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) for data engineering tasks
  • Proven excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proven solid communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams

 

Preferred Qualification:

  • Knowledge of distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
