Accountant on the E&I Revenue/Membership Functional Team (RFT) – Minnetonka, MN

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Perform fluctuation research of Financial Statements for our Student Resources Operating Unit
• Create/update membership schedules, calculating/recording reserves and communicating expected membership changes to management
• Maintain/enhance processes to ensure accuracy and minimize risk to financial statement reporting while reconciling, analyzing and reviewing financial transactions in preparation of month end close
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
• Develop/maintain internal control processes and standard operating procedures for all assigned tasks
• Prepare documentation in support of external and internal audits

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines.
• Experience in Accounting/Finance
• Moderate level of proficiency in Excel
• Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Possess attention to detail and good decision making skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $49,700 to $88,800 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
