Shift Timing (IST): Split Shift – Early morning and late evening IST hours

 

As a Senior Cloud Network Engineer, you will play a key technical role in architecting, designing, and implementing multi-cloud networking solutions across AWS, Azure, GCP, and Aviatrix MCNA. You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Architecture, Cloud, and Security teams to deliver highly available, scalable, and secure cloud network architectures supporting enterprise-level applications and infrastructure.

 

You will be a key contributor to solution and architecture development, driving best practices, technology roadmaps, and cloud networking standards across the organization.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, architect, and implement multi-cloud networking solutions using AWS, Azure, GCP, Aviatrix MCNA, and container networking technologies
  • Lead architecture reviews, create solution architectures, and drive the roadmap for cloud network modernization
  • Architect and implement segmentation, micro‑segmentation, and distributed firewalling leveraging Palo Alto Firewalls alongside Aviatrix
  • Distributed Cloud Firewall (DCF) and CloudWAN
  • Cloud Networking Engineering
    • Deploy and manage Aviatrix Controllers, Gateways, CoPilot, and multi-cloud transit and spoke architectures
    • Configure and operate Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, and hybrid cloud routing (BGP, EVPN, SD‑WAN as applicable)
    • Ensure robust IP routing, network resiliency, high availability, and optimal cloud network performance
    • Implement Zero Trust principles across cloud networking, including ZTNA, IAM/RBAC, and security policy automation
  • Infrastructure as Code & Automation
    • Develop and maintain Terraform IaC modules for cloud and Aviatrix resources
    • Integrate IaC workflows with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines
    • Automate network provisioning, configuration, and operational tasks using Python and modern automation frameworks
  • Operations & Optimization
    • Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot cloud network performance, latency, routing issues, and security posture
    • Support incident response, root-cause analysis, and network reliability improvements
    • Stay current with emerging cloud networking technologies and recommend improvements to architecture and tooling
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience architecting and operating cloud networks across AWS, Azure, and GCP
  • Experience implementing cloud security (IAM/RBAC, IPSEC, encryption, security posture management)
  • Hands-on experience with Aviatrix MCNA, including Controller, CoPilot, Transit, Spoke, Firewall Network Insertions, and Multi‑Cloud Security
  • Solid knowledge of Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, and hybrid connectivity
  • Expertise in Terraform, GitHub, Python, CI/CD pipelines, and HashiCorp tooling (including Consul)
  • Solid understanding of routing protocols, IP addressing, segmentation, and network engineering fundamentals, including DNS
  • Solid analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as: Aviatrix ACE, AWS Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer, GCP Network Engineer, CCNP, CCIE
  • Familiarity with cloud-native load balancers, service meshes, or container networking
