Primary Responsibilities:

• Participate in technical design and development for modules and projects
• Be a contributor of code, tests, automation, application design and architecture on an agile team of engineers working across the stack
• Solve technical problems with varying levels of complexity
• Build highly performant distributed systems
• Perform Code reviews
• Engineer automated test and metric reporting solutions
• Collaborate as part of the scrum team in grooming user stories and development of acceptance criteria for the user stories
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to plan and execute engineering, infrastructure and business objectives
• Communications and status for stakeholders
• Performance testing and tuning

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience in design, development and implementation of enterprise applications
• 5+ years working with design patterns, coding standards and performance improvements
• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience using technologies including: Java/J2EE, REST API’s, Spring Framework
• 3+ years of Azure, AWS, Google Cloud or Oracle cloud
• 2+ years of experience in a lead software engineer role
• Experience with CICD process and tools including any of the following: Jenkins, GIT, Artifactory, XL Deploy, Fortify, SonarQube
• Experience working within an Agile/Scrum Methodology
