The Enterprise Information Security (EIS) team is responsible for cybersecurity across our organization. We support our business and members by reducing risk, rapidly responding to threats, focusing on business resiliency and securing new acquisitions.

 

This is a new Director position was created in the IAM organization to own and unify all MFA / SSO services, strategies and governance.

 

This individual will focus on reducing the dependency on legacy perimeter MFA and address adoption gaps and improve end-to-end operations. In this role, you will lead efforts to enforce Always-On MFA across the thousands of applications currently tied to on-prem SSO solutions. You will establish and govern acceptable MFA / SSO patterns across distributed IAM services. You will develop strategies and organize efforts to consolidate and modernize IAM SSO toolchains and deploy methods to simplify consumption and administration of all services.

 

We are looking to hire a talented individual who possesses expertise with modernized identity and access management strategies and solutions. One who possess a solid background with managing engineering teams and product ownership.

 

You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • As a Director in the IAM organization you will have multiple engineering teams reporting to you
  • Develop and establish a clear MFA / SSO engineering vision that scales platforms, processes, and teams to meet business demand, reduce risk, and improve operational capabilities
  • Serve as a member of IAM leadership and will help shape your teams, your product and provide cross-team leadership and collaboration within the broader security organization

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management, including several years leading large and complex engineering initiatives
  • Demonstrated hands‑on and architectural experience with modern MFA and SSO technologies, including cloud identity providers, federation, conditional access, and solid authentication patterns
  • Proven solid understanding of identity‑related security risks and regulatory expectations (e.g., audibility, access assurance, and governance)
  • Ability to clearly communicate strategy, risk, and operational outcomes to senior leaders, influence cross‑functional stakeholders, and drive enterprise adoption of standardized identity patterns
  • Experience operating mission‑critical identity services at scale, including improving service reliability, reducing operational complexity, driving automation, and establishing measurable operational KPIs
  • Demonstrated solid background with hiring, developing, and leading engineering managers and engineers
  • Experience scaling teams and defining clear operating models, roles, and accountability

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $134,600 to $230,800 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
