Positions in this function perform software patch installations for our Enterprise Imaging Cardiology customers that will introduce new features and improvements to the software. This includes all the required system configuration and quality checks to ensure the software is functioning at its best. Provide a technical point of contact for project teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, keep timelines on track, assist with scheduling events, and achieve the highest customer satisfaction.  Update cases and work orders regularly and contribute to knowledge sharing enabling efficiency gains across the team. This position requires some after-hours and weekend work.

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Perform software patch installations on customer systems according to Change Healthcare processes
  • Perform system configuration and quality checks for Enterprise Imaging products
  • Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, corrective actions, document actions, and implement preventative measures
  • Provide a primary technical point of contact to assigned project teams, keeping milestones on track, and providing technical guidance during project delivery
  • Help coordinate the scheduling of software patching events with project teams to achieve the best throughput and meet timelines
  • Update cases and work orders for accurate record keeping of patch installations 
  • Contribute to knowledge-sharing and enable better efficiency across the team

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, equivalent Diploma OR 2 + years in the IT field working with Enterprise-class Information Systems, Windows Servers, Active Directory, and Networking
  • Willing and able to work outside of normal working hours and/or weekends – up to 2-3 times a week – as per customer scheduling requirements

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • MCSA certification (or equivalent covering Windows Server and Active Directory administration)
  • CCNA certification (or equivalent covering Networking, NAT, VLAN, and Load Balancing)
  • CompTIA Security+ (Change Healthcare sponsors certification)
  • Experience in Healthcare IT and PACS 
  • US Government system access clearance and background checks (Change Healthcare provides guidance to achieve clearance)
  • Experience with windows Server and Active Directory administration
  • Experience with Networking (NAT, VLAN, Load Balancing)
  • Experience with Enterprise-class Information Systems
  • Experience with SQL Database
  • Experience with Customer Service

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
