The Enrollment Client Liaison is responsible for first-level response and resolution or triage of escalated issues with external and internal customers. This role will enhance the overall delivery of benefits and services by providing on-site dedicated support and guidance to a large or complex client. The Account Manager builds relationships with employer/group clients (not individual members) and serves as the primary point of contact for operational service delivery by representing the client internally, completing projects and reporting, and coordinating with other functions to meet service delivery expectations and address ongoing service needs.  This role will require the flexibility to travel as needed to various client sites for support, training and mentorship.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Liaison between client, business partners, and Medicare and Retirement Group Retiree Operations
  • Drives innovative thoughts and ideas to meet CMS Regulations, solving complex problems and developing innovative solutions
  • Change Agent for new business processes
  • Analyze, review, forecast, and trend complex data
  • Present analysis and interpretation for operational and business review and planning
  • Support short and long term operational / strategic business activities through analysis
  • Develop recommended business solutions through research and analysis of data and business process and implement when appropriate
  • Identifies gaps and provides solutions
  • Reviews and provides constructive feedback on the work of others
  • Positive role model for the organization representing UHC at meetings and at client sites
  • Supports, embraces, and promotes the United corporate culture
  • Serves as a key resource on complex and / or critical issues
  • Support functional or segment teams or projects
  • Can adapt and react professionally as the point of escalation

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with enrollment and eligibility processes, billing and CMS regulations
  • 2+ years of experience gathering requirements from the client / business and documenting results
  • 2+ years of experience with process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and / or evaluation of business processes
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Excel, Access and PowerPoint
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with presentation and meeting facilitation
  • Ability to travel to client sites and for business needs. Total travel for year up to 25 percent

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Medicare and Medicare Advantage Plans knowledge and work experience
