Data Engineering Analyst – SQL,ETL

Primary Responsibilities:
- Research complex functional issues logged by business teams
- Recommendations for new data warehouse/ mart design as well as improvements in current data warehouse
- Provides explanations and interpretations within area of expertise
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
- B.Tech/MCA (Master of Computer Application)/M.Tech are preferred candidates(Minimum 16 years of formal Education)
- 4+ years experience on Teradata, Python, ETL & QA skills and able to do End-to-End integration testing
- Hands-on experience on writing Complex and Advance SQLs in multiple database environments
- Hands on experience on ETL/Data Model and experience of collecting business requirement
- Experience on Python and Cloud computing will be given more preference
- Hands-on experience on navigation of Unix file system and profiling large data files
- Should have knowledge of SDLC process; experience in Agile will be given more preference
- Solid communication and presentation skills
- Proven excellent analytical, problem solving and data analysis abilities
- Ability to Work collaboratively in global project with a positive team spirit and ensure team work & coordination
- Flexible with the working hours as he/she needs to closely work with the US counterparts
- Proven excellent communication and client facing skills
- Proven excellent Teradata, Python, ETL & QA skills and able to do End-to-End integration testing
- Ability to write complex SQL’s and Python Script
- Ability to design/Test DataStage(ETL) jobs
- Knowledge on Unix, testing and automation
- Knowledge on Python and cloud computing
